So I haven't use my Minolta in about 2 years and I finally decided to dig it out of the closet for the Summer. But I tried to load it and the film-advance lever WILL NOT go past 30 degrees. I want to know I can fix this myself or the cheapest option if I cannot fix it. Thanks!

Clean out the old batteries, clean the metal battery contacts with alcohol or lighter fluid, load new fresh batteries, turn on and wait 15 or 20 seconds, press the shutter release, if nothing happens try winding the advance lever now.
