haven't been on here for a few years but the last time I was working on cameras there were a few places that had parts for old slr's but I have lost the links.any one have sources for old slr parts cannon,minolta,nikon,konica.especially the caps for the minolta xg series.

For specific parts, you can try the swap part of this forum. Few sites list old parts anymore, unless they are rare (read costly) parts for collector's cameras.

The best place to get parts is usually the usual auction site- sometime you can get an entire parts camera for less than the cost of a part- if available.

Minolta caps can be bought from Radio Shack, Mouser, or if you are needy enough, some members here have been known to send them out. They are fifteen cents each in bulk. A quick search here will give you the specs for caps which work, and the replacement procedure.

well let me add the first link for aftermarket parts for cannon nikon and some others.battery doors for the cannon t series and rewind cranks for nikon f series
