Does anyone have any idea how to free a film speed dial on a Yashica FR1 ? It is stuck at 80 ASA/ISO. Camera looks as though it has been stored for quite a while. I am looking for a simple easy fix without removing the top plate, etc. Would a drop, and I mean a drop of lighter fuel, or alcohol, free the dial ? If nothing can be done, then I can still use it by taking readings from a handheld exposure meter; set those on the camera, and ignore the readings in the viewfinder. Exposure compensation dial is working correctly. Hope someone has an easy remedy for me. Thanks.
