Just bought a Yashica Electro 35 in pristine condition except for a couple internal matters. First, the battery check light doesn't function but the meter lights do. Second, the shutter sounds like it's firing but it isn't opening. I opened up the lens assembly to have a peek and what is happening is the "blade closing latch" appears to be loose and isn't holding the "intermediate blade closing lever" in place when the shutter is cocked. I'm at my wits end and don't want to proceed further without help. I'm thinking maybe a spring came off or something. I'm attaching a picture from the service manual with the area highlighted. Any help would be much appreciated.

SOLVED.
There was a tiny wire spring (We're talking tiny here) thinner than a hair that had come loose and was thankfully easy as pie to replace. Now everything is working flawlessly!
