Hello,

So I recently purchased a Minolta Hi-matic 7s from a garage sale and its not working...I need to fix it, and I don't have any film camera experience.

Basically, the Film Advance Lever was stuck so I pushed it so hard, now its loose and the numbers on the Film Counter won't move.

Also, the Film Rewind Button is pushed in and also stuck, and the shutters are stuck.

Any help, please?? I'm willing to take the camera apart, but I have no idea how to do that...

Thank you so much,

Leen

It's no longer stuck, it's broken.

Forcing the film lever probably broke at least two internal parts. Minolta won't have them any more so you now need to find another 7s to get the parts.

Tomosy covers this camera if I recall correctly (no guarantees there) and you can order his books through this site.
