Firstly, I have googled some repair manuals and searched this forum for my problem, but people had various problems and none that I could find was like this.

So... I've put the batteries in the camera. The red light should've been in the upper left corner. There wasn't any. Then, I've cleaned the contacts of the batteries compartment, nothing happened. I've removed the bottom and realized that the wire which goes from the + side of the battery compartment isn't wired to anything else. And even on this side it was holding barely.

I have 2 questions:
1. Where should I put the other end of the wire? It starts at the place marked with a red circle (I've removed it and will put a new one).

2. Is there anything else that you can see on the photo that's not as it should be? I've got no other problems that I can see.

Not sure if that helps.

The pic is part of the LOMO repair group on flickr which might also be a good source for tips.

Good luck with it.
