I have changed the seal between the film back and the camera - and it was a fiddle, I must say. It needed doing though because the light could get in quite easily, I think.
I have now turned my attention to the rear door. Although the foam has gone sticky the door looks well baffled and I wonder if it really needs foam seals. Did early Presses have these seals?
I have several old folders which do not appear to have such good baffling and they perform OK.
Has anyone tried a Press without the foam on the film door?
Any views would be much appreciated.
Graham
