Hi all,

recently I found a great book on camera and lens repair: Camera maintenance & repair book 1 and book 2

This really helped me to dare to take some zoom lenses I had waiting to be repaired, take them apart and try to fix them.

Unfortunately, in 2 lenses (Tokina 35-70 AT-X and Olympus Zuiko 35-70 f/4) I found broken cam followers / plastic rollers. Probably from impact on the front of the lens.

Is there a source of these parts ? I guess not.
I think it could be made from an apropriate plastic (nylon) tube. Do anyone of you have a good source for such tubes with various outside and inside diameter ?

BTW: Rick Oleson wrote me he would make the followers from brass on a lathe. Unfotunately, I don't have a lathe, although I can buy brass tubes with various outside/inside diameters at about €2 / 0.5m.
