Sorry if this is not the right forum for digital camera repair info. if that is the case can someone point me in the right direction?

I'm looking for a manual or directions to replace the LCD in my Nikon s3100. It cost $70 to have it replaced and a new camera is about the same. I can get a LCD for $20 so I want to give it a try.

Thanks,

Steve

Try Googling it ... I'm sure there are folks out there doing that stuff. You MIGHT find someone here who does electronics, but most of us tend to be kind of old school.....

I have had good luck with the eBay seller "rongyuanxie". They replaced the LCD on an old Canon SD300 of my wife's. They currently have a Nikon S3100 LCD for $19.95. They will either give you instructions on how to replace the LCD or will do it for you for a small charge.
