I need to remove the top plate on my Vitessa L, because the vertical alignment on the rangefinder is way out. I've located the two screws in the film compartment; but what do I do about the small milled knob which alters the film speed setting? It looks as if it needs to come off befoe the top can be lifted. |

It just lifts off with the top, along with the meter, which is fixed to the top too.
