I need to remove the top plate on my Vitessa L, because the vertical alignment on the rangefinder is way out. I've located the two screws in the film compartment; but what do I do about the small milled knob which alters the film speed setting? It looks as if it needs to come off befoe the top can be lifted.

It just lifts off with the top, along with the meter, which is fixed to the top too.
Regards, Chris

Thanks Chris! Amazing how obvious something can be once it's been pointed out.
Regards
Mike
