Hi,

I have an OM40 that is behaving very strangely. Shutter speeds seem to be very erratic even in manual mode. When they do vary they do seem to always be longer than the set time and in 'B' the shutter will stay open for a random tiem after I release the shutter button. Sometimes the shutter won't close (or at least I don't have the patience to wait :-)) and I have to take out the batteries and it shuts as soon as I remove the power.

Any ideas what's happening? Stuck magnet somewhere ? Is there a service manual available anywhere?

Thanks!

Ronnie
