i believe this beautifully made camera is much overlooked, there's very little info on the web.
mine has a alignment problem, both vertical and horizontal.
just wonder if anyone has a clue.

Hi,
What do you mean an alignment problem? Is it the rangefinder? I have one in pieces at the moment after someone (not me this time) separated the focusing helical. That part is back together now but I've got to cla and then reassemble lens barrel etc. Maybe we could compare notes. I agree, it's a beautiful little camera and I'm enjoying the process.

yes it is the mis-alignment of the rangefinder.
i opened the top
there's a small reflective mirror travel back-and-fore when you turn the focus ring
and i am not sure if those small screws inside the rangefinder mirrors are for the adjustment (just like Japanese RF camera), they are tight and i did not dare using excess force for fear of screwing up.

Rick Oleson has a CD of Technical notes on allot of cameras.

Here is my Contessamat SE I rebuilt earlier this year.

Sorry I don't have any top rangefinder adjustment pics but I will look for them. Send me a note in flickr to remind me, cause I have 4 cameras on multiple benches being worked on.
