I have a ton of antiques cameras, and there a a few that the shutter springs are completely lost, bent, or rusted on. I was wondering if anyone knew of a good place to look for shutter springs of all different types. I really wish I could use some of these, but they are just missing little parts here and there, and it's so frustrating to never know where to look for the right pieces!

only inside other shutters. for Christmas this year I got a set of spring-winding mandrels, but I have not yet had occasion to try making springs on them. (the mandrels came from Micro-Mark)

You can make some types of spring yourself with a bit of musical wire. Extension springs are more difficult.

Both the spring and aluminum door are very handy. I saved two shutters by them.

The pin on the shutter was made by the aluminum door.
