My FD lens has a small bit of cloudiness inside the front element. It doesn't appear to be fungus & it doesn't spread (been there many years) & lens kept in dry environment. I'm unable to find any instructions to do the following:

1. How do I remove the lens hood? I read something about removing the spanner, but how do I do that? (I don't have any special camera tools).
2. What are the next steps?
