My canon A1 rewind knob on the top fell off, then i managed to open the camera with a paperclip but now the rewind lever is actually loose. I mean the silver part what i think is supposed to be under the knob. I can't seem to but it back, i do manage to put it in for a little bit, but not far enough. Now i am wondering if i am maybe missing an other part? Does anyone know how to put the silver lever back in the camera?

Hello
When you say the silver bit, do you mean the shaft that goes throu the body and connects to the to of the film cassette?
If that is the case, the shaft has to go up throu the body, there is a small spring half way up the tube (body ). You will have to look down from the top, you will see a small spring ( nearest the prism ) that has to pushed to the side as you push the shat up-wards.
Hope this helps.
Doug
