Hi, I undid the top plate to try and straighten a dint out. After reassembling the camera the winder would not budge. I took a shot of the base to see if anyone can see something untoward with the gearing. Any pointers would be great. Thanks.
Your problem is that the lever just to the right of the tripod socket is broken. The broken part may be inside the camera jamming something. Best to replace the lever with one from a wreck, or silver solder the broken bit if you can find it on, and make sure it is replaced to the left of the lug of the shutter actuating bar (bottom of photo-lens mount side.
