I have a XG-1 that has the mirror stuck in the up position I can move the film advance lever and press the shutter button but nothing happens.have a good battery in it.suggestions on trying to finish the sequench to reset this would be a big help thanks.

the self timer is not working at this time but the leds in the veiw finder do light up when the shutter is depressed.it has a blue capacitor under the bottom plate.is this the type that goes bad?

after spending most of the day researching the problem on the net it looks like the first curtain released but not the second curtain.any suggestion on how to release the 2nd curtain?
