both cameras won't shoot the xg-1 has the mirror up but shutter won't release, tried resetting but no luck leds stay on when shutter is depressed so don't think it is a capacitor issue.it uses one of the blue ones .attached is a pictue with bottom plate removed.something doesn't look quite right but I can't identify it. XG-1 is bottom pic and the X-570 is the top pic with the blue cap on the left.
the 570 had the mirror up and when I reset it,the mirror dropprd but the film advance would just continue to wind.shutter still won't fire the leds stay on when shutter is depresed.there was a blue gear that was not engaging a white gear when the advance was being used but the white gear seemed to move over and engage on the last wind but shutter still won't fire.was wondering if something is out of time when the gears were not engaged and what made the white gear stick and finnally move over and engage.X-570XG-1

I have another xg1 that works fine and when comparing the bottom you can see that the slot for the motor drive engagement is not in the same position as the one with the problem.top is the one with a problem bottom on works fine.difference in rotation of about 40-45 degrees.anyone have an idea?xg1
