To my surprise I "fixed" the slow shutter speeds on a cord V bought on ebay two weeks ago. There was a time I thought all was lost but now I am so close.

I'm trying to put the face plate on and maintain the coupling feature. I believe I need to set it to B and f22. I have also tried the other extreme combos B,1/500/f3.5/f22 and nothing seems to work.

My understanding on how coupling works is I can set the shutter speed and then it will be fixed while I change aperture? I test it before attaching the screws it doesn't seem to work. There is a secondary dial on the aperture side with numbers from 4-18. Does that have something to do with it? Thanks.

Solved my own problem. Turns out part#547 controls the stiffness of the shutter speed selector. I had it way too loose thus the coupling would never work. Hope it helps someone else. compur shutter schematic
