Hi, I have a Contax Aria whose shutter release button sometimes fails to trigger. I'd say about 20% of the time you have to hold down the button for a while then eventually it fires. Other times its totally normal. I also have a remote shutter release that screws into it, which never fails. So the shutter seems fine and hopefully it's just a dirty switch or something.

Any idea if this is something I could self-repair or should I just sell it on ebay? I have no experience repairing cameras but I am reasonably good with tools. Any advice would be appreciated! Thanks!
