Hi,

I have a Minox 35ML that I have managed to get working. The magnets needed cleaning & also the shutter needed adjustment. 2 screws had fallen out in the lens which were stopping the aperture ring from turning.
I set the focus ring to infinity before I removed it & marked it up with Tipex before removing the front element.
Despite doing this, the focus is slightly off.
Is there a way I can hold the shutter open & use a ground glass screen to adjust this, as the 1 or 2 second longest exposure time is not long enough for my eyes to focus!
Any advice appreciated
Thanks,
Colin

Colin,
I don't have a Minox 35ML in front of me so can't say if the mechanism is the same, but I have adjusted focus on the Minox 35EL style cameras by removing the battery and then removing the plastic cover in the film aperture which then gives you access to the shutter magnets. I simply release the opening blade latch and the shutter will stay open as long as needed.

That worked Bill, Thanks!
I have only moved it a couple of mm, but on reflection I think it may be the operator that needs recalibrating! My Minox Touring focus scale is in feet, whereas the ML is in meters - I was aware of this previously, but think I may have forgotten when out shooting.
Operator error again! :-)

Glad it was any easy fix!
