I just picked up a couple of Fujinon lenses in m42 mount. One is a 55mm 1.8 EBC, its in really nice shape but the aperture blades do not open and close, they just stay in the wide open position. So nothing happens when the pin is pushed in on the mount side of the lens. Is this an easy fix or should I just use it as a wide open only lens?

This can come from several things. Most likely if nobody opened the lens, it comes from oily aperture blades that don't move anymore.

If it's an easy fix, it depends on your skills ;-)
