I have repaired a lot of radios but this is my 1st camera restoration project (picked a duzzy didn't I).

When I got it and put a new battery in I had good read out in the view finder but no "good battery" LED came on. The shutter and winder was also frozen. I was able to manually release the shutter from the bottom. I can wind and release manually like this ok but the shutter wont release with the button.
Here is what I have found so far:
I have 6 volts at the shutter release magnet circuit board and also at the red wire on the A,L switch board.
The Battery LED tested good on digital multi-meter.

According to the schematic it looks like I should have continuity between the LED and the + battery terminal when the switch is set in the "A" position but I don't.

My repair manual isn't a good copy, but it isn't very intuitive either in my opinion.

Can anyone help me?

Thanks, Bob
