Hello there! this is my first post and I must say that I am fairly new to the camera world. I bought a AE-1 Program the other day for $10. Everything seems to work great except the film transport sprocket is cracked and missing a piece. I see you can buy a replacement on ebay for about $10 but i cant seem to figure out how to get the old one off therefore i have no idea how to get the new one on. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thank you in advance! Benjamin |

I haven't done this on an AE-1P, but this usually involves almost complete disassembly of the camera -- not a job for a beginner. I wish I had better news. |

Hi,I am new member from Vietnam. I had sometimes dissassembled the AE-1 Program, but never touch to the sprocket(please look at pictures attached). I agree with Donnie strickland, you may spent much of time to dissassemble many things to reach to the sprocket. Nguyen Ba Nghien
