has anyone seen a seller listing all these models as being unable to fire shutters as cameras look in to good condition,,is it just me or is there something strange here,, im unaware about retina iic and reflex,, is it possible that these models need film loaded in order to operate properly/ie vito b or is it a case of the seller has missed something

Some Retina models are prone to shutter cocking rack failure. One used to be able to get better replacement racks from http://www.micro-tools.com/store/home.aspx , but it appears they have run out of their stock.

And old cameras will sometimes have sticky shutters if they have been sitting around for a long time with no exercise. Doesn't surprise me someone would have a bunch of them that are inoperative.

On a lot of Retina models (I'm not sure which ones), the film advance locks when the counter reaches "1", since the numbers count down as you wind the film. Then it has to be reset. A lot of folks don't know, and think the camera is broken.
