Seems like a common problem. New batteries, film is wound, some light-metering LED display but nothing when I depress the shutter release button. Seems like it could either be a mechanical or a capacitor problem

The couple times I've run across posts addressing the mechanical issues, no one says how or where to 'un stick' the problem. I'm attaching a picture of the bottom of my camera w/ the base-plate off. Could someone please provide some guidance on how to proceed if this is, in fact, a mechanical problem ?

THANKS !!

-John
