Hi All, I have a faulty Konica FS-1 that I would like to fix (a classic case of shutter failure) but I'm not sure how to remove the top cover. All the screws are out (I think) but it seems to be retained by something else. Can anyone advise please before I break it? Thanks!

There are 2 screws hidden under the leatherette either side of the front facia.
When lifting the top cover note there are about 10 wires on the wind side leading from a circuit board to the release and speed setting knobs.
The FS-1 and to a lesser extent the FT-1 are difficult to fix, and generally not worth the considerable effort involved!

Many thanks for the advice. I now have the cover off and am searching for the fault. The flexible PCB looks good and the visible connectors are clean. Are the troublesome ones further down inside the body?
