Hope someone can help me with this. I recently found this camera at an estate sale got it for 30 with a 8 mm projector to go with. I am now trying to get it going. First off I opened the two battery compartments and cleaned them out good, then replaced the old Mallory PX-13s with Zinc Air 625 Batteries, and then installed 4 AA batteries for the motor.
When I depress the black cds battery button for the exposure control battery the needle moves dead center neither black nor red (think I was sold bad batteries on that one though) and when I depress it for the motor the needle just jumps a little in the red. I’ve tried a different set of new batteries also and it still does the same. Still no response from the camera.
Anyone got any idea what my next steps should be? I am a tinker but never messed with a camera like this so any advice would be appreciated.
