I can't give a specific answer, but its often worth removing the bottom plate of an SLR with this type of problem, look carefully at whats going on when you try to operate the film advance, and gently try to move any levers, cams, cogs etc which might be somehow blocking the winding sequence. You can also sparingly lubricate the movement where appropriate.

There is a service manual on this site, but it is 4 pages and not real detailed.

i've had this problem once... bought a slightly rusty camera
try use a shutter cable and press hard, it might lift the button back up
