The rewind button is stuck in the depressed position and does not pop back up when the film advance lever is operated.
The catch that holds the button down is operating properly and not impeding the button's movement. It just feels like there is excessive resistance to the movement of the button and shaft and the spring is not able to overcome it. I have tried lubricating slightly but it still is not working properly. I can pull the button back into position with some force.
Has anyone come across this before? Any suggestions?
