I used the film advance lever to put in a new film. After some turns the lever arm turns like loose and w/o any function. I would like to repair it for myself and I really appreciate for some tips where I have to look for a failure.

Try removing the advance lever first. Then check to see if the lever itself is broken or stripped. Before you reinstall lever, manually turn the advance shaft counter-clockwise with your fingers until it stops, then install lever. Art @ flcamerarepair.com.
