Anyone done an overhaul on the door of a 5000E? I recently got a junker with a good lens to practice some repair skills. I opened it up with some trouble, but having taken the door latch off and cleaned the latch area, I can't get the door to close properly. Have studied the mech and I think I have put it back properly but there is too much gap between the small chromed irregular piece that clamps the door latch and the latch itself. Too much play even when closed. I need to replace the seals but the latch appears to have a lot of play regardless...The back was actuallyquite snug when I got it - in fact, jammed shut. Any ideas gratefully received.
