I have a Nikon N4004 which is totally dead. I took the bottom off and tried to remove the top to trace the power but ran into a problem. I found the obvious screws and the screw under the grip that allows me to remove the right hand strap bracket and circuit board but there still seems to be one screw holding the top near the exposure counter. Does anyone have experience with this or a lead on a repair manual? Thanks.

There are 2 more under the trim panel around the shutter button. Have you found those? The panel just prises up, carefully.

Thank you. That's exactly what I needed. Now I can trace the power.
