Picked up an extremely clean Olympus Pen EED.
However, it is missing the battery cover. I beleive it takes the larger px625 battery.
Does anyone have a battery cover I can try on this camera?
2nd, the shutter does not open/close when I activate the shutter release. It ~sounds~ like it works and it allows me to advance the film. But on watching carefully the shutter doesnt open when fired. Anyone have any experience with these?

Since it's an automated exposure camera (as is reported on Camerapedia), it appears to fire on manual/flash mode at 1/15 sec (don't set it to Auto), which should be easy to see. If you don't see any shutter opening, I'd guess it's stuck. I wish I had a battery cover that fit, but I don't think that my Pen D2 parts camera could fit, since the battery cover sits inside the removable back rather than on the outside.
