Hi, I am new to this forum but am interested in classic cameras. Lately I've been collecting and using Retinas and Voigtlanders and Zeiss Ikon.
I just got a Contessa with Tessar 45/2.8 but found some fungus on the lens. Can anybody help me how to clean this? or can remove the lens assembly?

Open the back. Spin off the lens. Clean that half. Set the shutter to "B" and f2.8, keep the shutter open, clean that inner side of the lens. Then spin the back half back on.

If that doesn't make it better, then the other guys will have to tell you the serious repair stuff.

Thanks Tom, I don't have a spanner ranch yet, but will find a way to remove the back half of the lens and will try to clean.

Grind down a pair of tweezers or pair of needle nosed pliers. If it slips, remember, I didn't recommend this. LOL.
