Hi

Does anyone know what the updated/reccomended battery would be for a Canon TX 35mm SLR?

Thanks
Robert

Have a look on this forumsite :

But please, don't mess around trying to open old mercury-batteries like somebody on that forum did. Mercury and it's vapours are dangerous for people.

The most elegant solution would be an internal readjustment of the Canon TX to 1,5V batteries.

Spend a few Euros and buy a MR 9 battery adapter from the Small Battery Company.

www.smallbattery.company.org.uk/sbc_mr9_adapter.htm

I use these in all my equipment that originally used 1.35v mercury cells.
