I have a nice clean Super Ikonta A.
Unfortunately the aperture blades are stuck at about f4, and one or more are out of place. The shutter is a Compur.. From what I know you have to completely disaseemble them to get to the aperture blades. Is this true of the super ikontas or is there an easier way to service the aperture without messing with the shutter mechanism?

Failing that, are there any CLA services for the super Ikonta? And would it be workth it for a model A?

If it is postwar model with flash sync. and coated lens, it is worth having it fixed. Try Strauss Photo Technical for a repair (http://www.spts.com/)

Even if it's a prewar model with uncoated lens and no synch, it's still worth having it fixed. Another place to look for repairs is the directory at http://acecam.com/srindex.html
