So, the depth of field button has stopped working - press it and nothing happens. How much trouble to make things right again? What will it take?

Looking at front of camera with lens removed:
Does the button move the little arm at left side
of lens mount? Is that arm still there? It opens
the aperture when lens is mounted.

The arm is still there, but the button does not move it. The arm does move when the mirror lock-up is engaged.
