Ahhhh.. had a bike crash and dropped my beloved canon p and now I'm having the same problem as this poor fellow

https://kyp.hauslendale.com/classics/forum/messages/6901/2513.html?1083377945

Anyone come up with a solution?

also from the canon 7 repair manual ...
http://www.pentax-manuals.com/manuals/service/canon%207%20repair.pdf

When, due to deformation of Slow Speed Selecting Lever C9330, the Anchor of
Slow Shutter Governor CU002 does not become detached at 1/15 and the exposure
time is extended to approximately 1 second, it is adjusted in the following
manner:
Bend C9330 so that it touches the cam of Shutter Speed Selecting Disc
C9329.

seems to be the same thing... but from what i can see, the shutter mechanisms are slightly different so I don't want to muck anything up bending blindly!!
