I have a M2 that the view in the rangefinder does not move when focusing. I would like to remove the rangefinder cover to see if lubrication is required. Does anybody know the correct procedure to open the top cover on this camera? Thank you in advance. Dann |

Thanks Rick, I just now got it finished up. I went on experience and luck, and luck prevailed. I removed the rewind knob, the accessory shoe and screw underneath, the eyepiece, and the nut on the shutter button. I found the movable mirror to be frozen up. Gave is a push and some WD40 . . . all is well. |
