I just bought a Canon T50 from a secondhand market, and it actually works! The lens is awfully dirty though, is there anyway I can do the cleaning myself? Or should i head to the Canon repair centre?

If it is the standard 50mm lens you can buy one for cheaper, way cheaper than getting it repaired. I don't know how to disassemble them. Just clean the front and back and see how it looks.
