Hello.
I would like to open the rear port on my Cocarette Special 519/2G to clean the rear lens elements. The problem is that the port cover is frozen. I believe it normally takes a slight CCW turn to disengage the bayonet type fingers. However this example is jammed, no movement at all. If all the mating parts are aluminum they may have oxidized together. Does anyone have any ideas on how to free this part? Solvents? Heat? There is no place to get a solid grip on the port as it is nearly flush.
Thanks for your efforts
