I tried to unscrew the numbered shutter speed dial to clockwise many times using filed niddle pliers. but, I never couldn't get off. then, I drilled two small holes in the shutter speed dial slots and tried to unscrew clockwise using small pin. but, I couldn't get off, too. Is there any way to remove the numbered shutter speed dial easily? Please help~ I need repair manual or good tips. |

The screw in the pointer dial is RH threads. The slotted nut under that has LH threads. I took a large straight blade screwdriver and angle ground the outer edges and notched the center. Wind the shutter first, then try to get it loose. Then fire the shutter and finish unscrewing it. Good luck and make sure you check the shutter curtains for pin holes. |
