I put my Contaflex back together and everything worked fine, except the "B" setting. I am convinced there is a spring that needs reinstallation. It is shown in red. The spring is actually below the triangular shaped piece, but the ends can be seen. One end is straight, the other is hooked. If someone knows how this spring is to be oriented, I would love to hear. I searched a lot of posts, and found something similar, but that part of the shutter looked enough different from this one that I am still at a loss.Synchro Compur Shutter - Contaflex I

Thanks again Rick. I got it. It seems that wasn't the only issue. I had to resort to the QD Electronic Cleaner. I already had the inside lens out for cleaning. A good cleaning got it. I suspect the self timer was not completely "unwound". It appears all speeds and "B" are working fine and it is back together with clean lenses.
