I have an Agfa Ambi Silette 50mm. I bought it a long time ago off ebay and unfortunately there are 2 main problems that are plaguing the camera and have hindered me from using it. Recently, I decided to try and fix these issues on my own rather than search for a store or specialist to do it...but turns out I need help :-)

The first problem is it's shutter doesn't seem to work properly...so I wanted to get inside the camera to take a look and see what I can do but can not for the life of me figure out where the hell the screws are to open this baby up. I've searched around on the internet and have come up empty handed. So I was wondering if anyone here can help me out please!!!! I know there was some sort of Japanese website that had instructions but that website seems to be gone :-( ANY information will help.

The second problem is the rangefinder is off alignment...and I wanted to fix it but here again can not figure out how to get into the camera and need help on how to fix a rangefinder alignment. I've done searches for this on the internet as well and haven't found anything. So any bit of information is of HUUGGEE help to me and will be greatly appreciated. Thank you so much!!!

First, the shutter blades may be sticking, so put a couple of drops of naptha on them and make sure it gets in between the blades then cock and release the shutter a few times. To get into the shutter, open the back of the camera. There are 3 screws about 1" long holding the entire assembly, 2 on the left and 1 on the right. The screw heads may have little black round covers on them. Remove the screws and the shutter assembly comes out the front.
