Where can I get an Ansco Regent repaired? I bought this camera in the middle 1950s, used, and have carried it ever since. I had it CLA'd in the 1970s. Readers here will recognize the stuck grease problems it had. Now, due to an accident in a move, the camera refuses to open without prying and the focusing helix is jammed. The film-wind sprocket skips now and then, too. Were it not for the fact that it is the very first camera that I owned and bought with my own hard-earned cash, I'd trash it. But as it is, I would like to keep using it occasionally. Although it offers no real advantage over my 'blads, it's a sentimental thing. Thanks. |

Ask if one of the "old guys" can fix it at Strauss Photo Technical Services (SPTS) in DC. They do stuff like that. They have a website. |
