time doesn't seem to be too kind to the coverings on these cameras. has anyone here found a replacement material that makes a good match? |

I was looking for leather for my rolleicord and found this. I have not ordered from them, so don't know, but they seem to be a good company. http://www.cameraleather.com/ Greg |

Corvette, Google the 'I want to paint my car by numbers' forum and give those sad individuals your useless information! |

As far as the leatherette goes I found somewhat similar match by taking old binder books and removing it then soaking off cardboard and rubbing off remainder. These are the older binders that were only in black. If the cameras leatherette is usuable as a template good ,if not then carefully attach new pieces with double tape or contact glue. I then carefully cut along the edges and angles with an exakto blade. Look in used book stores . I found mine at work in some scrap storage. There are other suppliers on this site to get new stuff but if on a budget like me this is the way to go , Good luck. Don |
