You'll do better searching for Duaflex info with the right spelling. I have a page on my website about the II and III models (http://mconnealy.com/vintagecameras/duaflex/index.html). As I note there, you won't need more than a phillips head screwdriver to take it apart. The main problem you'll encounter is the very flimsy construction, including cardboard parts that are difficult to reassemble properly.

Connealy: are you talking about how I spelled cameras or Dualflex? because either one I did spell correctly either that or the company spelled it wrong lol. Also I looked at your link and it has good info on the camera but again not how to properly take it apart and care for it or repair it, thank you for the info you did give.

ok Duaflex sorry. well I have another camera I just came across it is a argus autronic 35 looking up info as I type any thoughts on this camera would be nice as in quality of photo's or where to get bulbs and batteries for flash attachment. I found a club for just this camera type so hopefully I get this info soon.

The Argus Autronic is only good for target practice in my opinion. There is a repair manual for it here on this website.

The Duaflex is a phenominal camera. The phenomina devives from the fact that no one can spell its name correctly. Would love to do a psychological study on people who misspell Duaflex.

Are you having a problem finding film for the Mercury II? :-)

Ii had a Duaflex that I gave away a while back. One of the most interesting things about these cameras is that, at a time when the Japanese and Germans could hardly seem to make a TLR viewfinder that didn't require a dark cloth and a magnifying glass to see through, the cheap and nasty Duaflex had a nearly perfect, bright and easy to use finder. Go figure.

That is because the finder used a magnifier glass instead of a ground glass. Not possible to focus the finder when using one of those.
