My Microflex TLR has some fungus in the rear element of the lower lens and I need to unscrew it from inside the camera. A friend has tried using a plastic tube with double sided tape mounted on the end face, but it is stuck tight. Does anybody know where I could get a suitable tool or how I could make one ?

I do not know this camera's internals - I was not into taking them apart when actually used one. So firstly; does the retaining ring at the rear of the lens have two diametrically opposite slots or 'pin' holes in it? Where one goes from here depends on what you find.

Hi Glenn.
Thanks for your reply. No, the rear element has no notches or holes to locate a spanner. There isn't a retaining ring, just the metal rim around the lens element.
